Well, just finished doing the final planning. I leave on the 15th of Sept and plan on riding into Naples on the 25th of Oct! I have 4 rest days planned as well as stopping in Lancaster PA for a "small Town Pastor's Conference". I have been keeping my eye on that conference because I pastor in a small town and was overjoyed when it fit into my Sabbatical as well as on my route down to Florida.
Anyway, please pray for no hurricanes during my trip down. I just realized that I will be going through the Carolinas during the height of the season (yet another worry for those staying home!) It would be tough to try to outrun a hurricane on a bike...'nough said.
